According to the remaining texts from Naser al-Din Shah's travelogue, Ardavan was the old name of Aradan, which was derived from the name Ardavan of the Parthians, and after the passage of time was changed to Aradan, Aradan city has an area of about 4329 square kilometers, this city is in It is located 15 kilometers from Garmsar city and leads from the north to Firouzkoh, from the west to Garmsar, from the east to Sarkheh and from the south to Ardestan (Isfahan).
This city has a mountainous climate in the center, a summer in the north and a desert in the south of the city.
The main agricultural, horticultural, and livestock products of this city include wheat, cotton, melons, figs, green tomatoes, walnuts, olives, livestock and poultry breeding, and beekeeping, which is due to benefiting from the fertile plains and drinking water from the permanent river Hableh Rood. It is considered one of the agricultural poles of the province.
